All of the system specifications and resources (manuals, user guides, etc.) needed for the 2016 North Dakota State Assessment (NDSA) Smarter Balanced administration will be available for download from this portal.   • A quick start guide about how to access paper pencil reports within the Online Reporting System has been posted within the administration resources under User Guides.

  • Within the coming months, please access TIDE to clean up your user accounts. Users no longer at your school or district will need to be deleted. In mid-December, students will be loaded into TIDE, including any IEP information that is available. This student data will come directly from the state enrollment database in STARS so please correct any student demographic errors in STARS as well as in TIDE. Special codes will need to be used for any instance where a student will not be taking the Smarter Balanced assessment this spring.
