Welcome to the second year of the North Dakota State Assessment (NDSA) English language arts and mathematics assessments based on the Smarter Balanced model, a multi-state effort to design meaningful performance based assessments. All of the system specifications and resources (manuals, user guides, etc.) needed for the 2016 North Dakota State Assessment (NDSA) Smarter Balanced administration will be available for download from this portal. Recent Announcements

  • Student reports for 2016-2017 school year will be available in Online Reporting System (ORS)  until October 1, 2017. ORS will be closed after that date and reports will no longer be available.

  • UPDATE: The ORS system will be down for maintenance starting on Thursday, August 17, through Sunday, August 20. Student reports will be unavailable during this time.

  • Important Information Regarding Reports in the ORS:
    Reports posted to the ORS prior to June 14 may have been incorrect for some students. Several items required rescoring which resulted in updated student scores. We are working on a comprehensive list of districts, schools, and students affected and will provide this information to the DPI and the Measured Progress Help Desk. All reports viewed or downloaded after June 14th are updated and correct. Please call the ND Help Desk with any questions at 1–800-929-3757.

  • The ORS system will be down for maintenance starting on Friday, July 21, through Monday, July 24. Student reports will be unavailable during this time

  • NOTE: All users that have previously downloaded the Julie Voice Pack will need to download a new license file before May 3, 2017.   There is an instructional document posted in TIDE under General Resources.  Please follow these instructions and call the Help Desk with any questions at 1-800-929-3757.  If you will be downloading the Julie Voice Pack for the first time, please follow the full installation instructions posted under the General Resources tab in TIDE.
