  • An Embedded Field Test Performance Task will be administered to 1% of students. Test Administrators can expect students who receive this embedded field test to require an additional ten to fifteen minutes of testing time. More information about the Embedded Field Test Performance Task can be found under Administration Resources in the General Information folder.

  • Within the coming months, please access TIDE to clean up your user accounts. Users no longer at your school or district will need to be deleted. In mid-December, students will be loaded into TIDE, including any IEP information that is available. This student data will come directly from the state enrollment database in STARS so please correct any student demographic errors in STARS as well as in TIDE. Special codes will need to be used for any instance where a student will not be taking the Smarter Balanced assessment this spring.

  • All users will need to reset their TIDE passwords. Please follow the instructions from the email sent by the NDSA Service Center to do so. After receiving your temporary password, you will be prompted to create a new one upon your first login attempt. Please contact the NDSA Service Center at 800-929-3757 if you have any questions.

  • Paper reports are in the process of being printed and prepared for shipment. These reports are expected to be shipped the week of October 17 and should be arriving in district offices the week of October 24. These individual student reports are also available to download from the Online Reporting System.

  • The reopening of TIDE has been delayed due to importing data into the system. This data synchronization is expected to be complete by the end of the day. The TIDE portal card will become available as soon as the system is ready for use.

  • TIDE will be offline from Tuesday, September 12 and will reopen on Monday, September 19. During this downtime, TIDE will be refreshed for the 2016-2017 school year. This refresh includes a TIDE interface redesign but functionality will remain the same. User accounts will be rolled over from the 2015-2016 school year and users will receive a reactivation email. If it hasn’t already been done, old user accounts for personnel no longer at the school will need to be deleted.

  • Measured Progress is pleased to announce that the final student results from the 2015-2016 Smarter Balanced assessment have been made available in the Online Reporting System. Results for students who tested online were posted on June 16. Finalized results for students who tested on paper were posted on September 1. Individual student reports are available for download. Printed reports and results labels are in production to be shipped to schools.

  • Please note that we are currently preparing the TIDE system for the 2016-17 school year. Do NOT change, edit, or alter student data that is currently in the system in any way. Further information will be provided when updated student data has been loaded and the system is ready for use.

  • The NDSA portal has been updated to streamline the resource folder structure. The District Administrator and Test Administrator buttons have been replaced by the NDSA Smarter Assessment button. Documents found under the Smarter Balanced Information folder are being moved into the User Guides folder with corresponding subfolders. Other minor structural changes have been made to the other folders.

  • All results from the 2015-2016 online Smarter Balanced test were successfully loaded into ORS as of June 16 and are currently available. The loading of results from the paper pencil test was delayed due to the complexity of the overall process, which required additional time and effort to complete. We apologize for this delay and expect that all student results will be available in the ORS by the end of the month, if not sooner.

  • Batch 3 student reports have been loaded to the ORS. Please be aware that we are currently finishing the processing of paper test scores, as well as reconciling any tests that remained in a state of “unsubmitted” as of May 27. A batch 4 of student reports will be posted when the reconciliation process is completed, and all paper scores are processed. We expect this work to be complete the week of June 27.

  • TIDE functionality is once again operational for updating student information and special codes. All changes to student demographics and special codes must be made by June 15. After June 15, the system will be taken offline and further updates will not be possible.

  • TIDE functionality has been restricted to user account management due to the closing of the test window on 5/27/16. We understand that many schools still need to update student participation information via special code assignment, and are working to re-open TIDE for this work to continue. Please continue to check the portal this afternoon, as we will provide updates as they become available.

  • The secure FTP site for posting students that need to be removed from your district to Measured Progress is ready for use. The site is located at https://transfer.measuredprogress.org. Please call the NDSA Help Desk to obtain the username and password to access the FTP. The Help Desk will further assist you with students needing reassignment.

  • Please make sure to have a district representative complete the online certification form provided by the Department of Public Instruction in order to confirm your district’s evidence of training on test administration. Only one form should be completed per district. (A PDF version of the form is posted under General Information, so that you may review the fields prior to completing the online form.)   • As part of the process for loading individual student reports, the Online Reporting System will be offline tomorrow, April 19, for data load and QA purposes. The system will return to normal operation on Wednesday, April 20. Individual student reports for students who submitted a completed test, inclusive of CAT and PT for one content area, by April 8 will be available when the system is rebooted.

  • The North Dakota State Assessment Program TIDE and Practice Tests will be offline on Saturday, February 13 from 9-10 a.m. CT for scheduled maintenance. You will be able to resume using the Online Testing System application once the maintenance is completed.

  • Paper and pencil ordering information was provided to superintendents, principals, and district coordinators via email this week. Please contact the NDSA Service Desk to order paper and pencil test materials between 2/1 – 2/12. No orders will be accepted after 2/12
