  • Updated Factsheet Posted to NDSA Portal

    An updated Factsheet has been posted to the NDSA Portal under the General Information tab of Administration Resources.  Changes to the Factsheet include grades using Audio Scripts and the use of headphones.

  • NDSA Glossaries Not Available

    For the 2018-2019 NDSA, glossaries accommodations in English and Spanish are not available.  This will be removed from TIDE within the next 24 hours.  Please do not update this accommodation prior to removal from TIDE.

  • NDSA Memo Folder Added to Resources

    A new folder called "NDSA Memos" has recently been added to the Resources/Administrative Resources tab on the Portal.  These are memos created by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction with the intent to inform Test Administrators of information needed on the curent NDSA test administration.

  • Upcoming TIDE Downtime 2/12/19

    TIDE will be down for maintenance upgrade on 2/12/19 starting at 7 pm CT.  TIDE will be back online and available for use by 2/13/19 at 6 am CT.

  • NDSA Preparedness Training 2019

    The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI), EduTech, and AIR are working together to provide updated information, training, and support to schools for administering the North Dakota State Assessment. 

    NDSA preparedness training provides district test coordinators/test administrators with resources to administer the North Dakota State Assessment. Upon completion of this training, participants will understand where to obtain appropriate resources, how to set up students and staff, and how to administer testing sessions.  Please use the following link to access training dates, locations, and registration instructions:

  • ND TIDE Live 12/3/18

    TIDE is now open for the 2018–2019 online test administrations of the North Dakota State Assessment (NDSA). Users may now activate their TIDE account for this school year, provision accounts for other users (if permitted by the user’s role permissions), and update student accommodations in TIDE.

    The following features in TIDE will be available when test administration begins:

    • Appeals/Invalidations
    • Monitoring Test Progress
    • Non Participation Codes

  • TA Certification

    The Test Administrator (TA) Certification course is now available for the 2018–2019 online test administrations of the North Dakota State Assessment (NDSA). All users who plan to administer the 2018–2019 online NDSA must take the TA Certification course, regardless of their user role in TIDE.  Please note that if you have taken the TA Certification course during a previous school year, you are required to complete the TA Certification course for the 2018–2019 school year. Failure to complete the TA Certification course will result in the user’s inability to access and administer the 2018–2019 online test administration of the NDSA in the Test Administration Interface until the TA Certification Course has been successfully completed.

  • Secure Browser

    The Secure Browsers for the 2018–2019 school year are now available for download from the Secure Browser page of the North Dakota State Assessment Program Portal. The new version of the Secure Browser is required for the 2018–2019 online test administrations of the North Dakota State Assessment (NDSA).

  • Correction: ORS Downtime Notice

    ORS will come down Thursday (8/30) at 7:00PM CST thru Monday (9/3) for routine maintenance.  ORS will be back up for use Tuesday (9/4) at 6:00 AM CST.

  • Password reset and Login information

    You received an email today requiring your password to be reset when logging into TIDE/ORS. To help ensure timely delivery of password reset and login code emails please add IP address to your whitelists by their firewalls / spam filters.

  • 2017-2018 ORS Reports Now Live

    You can now access the 2017-2018 NDSA reports on ORS.  Use the NDSA Assessment card on the left of this page and proceed to the Online Reporting System card.  You can also find the ORS Users Guide in the Resources tab.

  • Reminder, Non-Participation Deadline Approaching

    The last day to update student's Non-Participation codes in TIDE is Thursday 5/31/18.

  • Data Cleanup and Non-Participation Code Updates

    When updating non-participation codes in TIDE, the list will display “Alternate Assessment” for both ELA and Math. This does not reflect the Special Code assigned to the student. All students are defaulted to “None”. Only when you perform Data Cleanup and update/save a non-participation code will it change from the default of “None”.

  • ORS Planned Downtime

    Please be advised that ORS will be down for maintenance all day on Friday, March 16th. It will be available starting Monday, March 19th.

  • Writing Item on the ELA test

    In order to access the Writing item on the ELA test, students will have to wait 20 minutes after exiting segment 1. This pause will allow students to have some time for a break between the ELA segment and the essay. The essay can also be administered on a different day. 

    Test Administrators have the option to remain active in their current session or open a new one. Please note that inactivity for over 20 minutes on TA Interface will result in interface timeout and Test Administrators will need to create a new session for further testing.

  • TA Certification

    All Test Administrators are required to take TA Certification this school year. Moreover, all users are eligible to take TA certification. Anyone who administers the assessment, regardless of their role in TIDE, must complete the TA certification. Not completing TA Certification in TIDE will result of the user not being able to administer tests.

All system specifications and resources (manuals, user guides, etc.) needed for the 2017-18 NDSA administration will be available for download from this portal. Content will be added during the coming weeks, so please visit often.
